I don’t like working out, and I’m not afraid to admit it. I find being a slave to the treadmill for half an hour a day a chore, so when I received an email from Local Ginger about Tease Dance and Fitness I decided to give it a try. I went for their Teaser intro class last week with a friend of mine and had the time of my life! If you need a change in your workout routine, or want to start a workout routine, Tease is absolutely the place for you. Located in Naperville on Wherli Road, Tease is owned by Kristin Hubbard, a mom and proud supporter of “me time”. She designs her classes to empower her students and get them to feel confident and happy about their figures and encourages them to “turn of their minds”. Hubbard and her employees are a fabulous group of women who show newcomers that despite your jean size, despite how your hair looks that day, and despite what’s going on in your life you are a truly gorgeous woman inside and out.
Her classes start with about 45 sensual Pilates to warm up and work out your arms, abs, hips, booty and legs. This tough workout gets your body moving in ways it hasn’t before and gets every muscle fired up. From there the class moves onto the poll which couldn’t be more freeing despite the bruises you get! This class is a great alternative to a boring workout, and let me tell you- I’m sorer after this class than I am when I go to the gym by myself, and I have a lot more fun at Tease.
