Make: Gardening Bug

A few of my coworkers are busy planting their gardens right now, and to get outside I decided to make a little garden in the corner of our patio! Of course I had to make it as colorful as possible, so here is a how to on how to make a girly-not-so-outdoorsy patio garden:

Start by getting some terracotta pots and trays, acrylic paint in your favorite colors and some paint brushes.

Paint a layer of white on your pot so the colors are vibrant and true.

Paint on your design!

Then, layer some potting soil in and plant your seeds according to their directions. I planted pepper seeds and basil seeds, as well as some already growing gerber daisies and cilantro.
